About Addison
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and have 7 years of experience teaching programming. My interest in coding began through building small applications and exploring how software systems work. Teaching allows me to share that passion while helping students develop practical technical skills.
My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and flexible. I adapt lessons based on each student’s learning style and pace. Some learners prefer hands-on coding, while others benefit from detailed explanations. I encourage curiosity, consistency, and active participation. Building confidence in programming is always a priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new programming languages and software development tools. Staying updated helps me bring modern examples into lessons. I enjoy helping students grow from beginners into confident programmers. Watching learners develop independence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand how to think logically and build solutions using code. I teach variables, loops, functions, arrays, object-oriented programming, debugging, and basic algorithms through structured explanations and hands-on practice. Students learn how to break problems into smaller steps and convert ideas into working programs. I focus on understanding core logic rather than memorizing syntax.
