About Liv
I am a programming tutor with 13 years of experience and a PhD in Computer Science. My interest in programming started when I discovered how logical thinking can create useful and powerful solutions. Over time, this curiosity grew into a deep passion for teaching and helping students understand coding clearly. I have worked with learners from different levels and backgrounds, helping them build strong programming skills and confidence. My aim is to make programming simple, engaging, and accessible for every student.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation so students can learn comfortably at their own pace. I break down complex topics into smaller steps and use practical examples to make learning easier. I encourage students to think independently and solve problems with confidence. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me, as it allows students to ask questions freely and learn without pressure. I provide regular feedback and guidance to help students improve steadily and build strong coding habits over time.
I continue to explore new technologies and improve my teaching methods to keep lessons updated and effective. Teaching programming is very rewarding because I see students grow from confusion to clarity and confidence. I enjoy helping learners develop strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. My goal is to support students in building a solid foundation and preparing them for future opportunities. By the end, students feel motivated, prepared, and capable of continuing their programming journey with confidence, strong understanding, and independence.

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand coding in a simple and structured way while building strong logical thinking skills. I teach topics such as variables, loops, conditions, functions, object-oriented programming, and basic data structures using clear explanations and practical examples. Students actively write code during lessons, which helps them learn faster and gain confidence step by step. I focus on making each concept easy to understand by connecting it to real-life situations. The learning environment is calm and supportive, so students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new ideas without hesitation. Practice exercises are included in every session to strengthen understanding and improve accuracy.
Lessons are planned based on each student’s level and pace of learning to ensure steady and comfortable progress. Beginners start with basic syntax and simple programs to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners work on structured coding, debugging, and building small projects that improve confidence. Advanced students focus on algorithms, data structures, and real-world applications that require deeper thinking. I provide detailed feedback and encourage students to explain their logic clearly.
