About Jake
I developed a passion for programming through creating functional solutions to real-world problems. This led me to earn a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering, equipping me with the expertise to teach both theory and practice effectively. Over 8 years, I have guided students at all levels, helping them build coding proficiency, problem-solving ability, and confidence in their programming skills. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, hands-on learning, and adaptability. I provide real-world examples, structured exercises, and interactive guidance, ensuring students fully understand and apply concepts. I encourage experimentation, independent thinking, and stepwise progress. Outside the classroom, I explore emerging technologies, personal coding projects, and programming communities. Teaching programming is deeply fulfilling because I witness students grow into confident problem-solvers capable of applying their knowledge creatively and independently.
