About Elodie
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how software could solve real-world problems. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science, followed by an M.Sc in Artificial Intelligence, where I gained extensive knowledge in algorithms, coding paradigms, and emerging technologies. Over 10 years, I have helped students of all skill levels develop strong foundations and advance towards complex programming projects.
I emphasise a structured and personalised approach, using clear explanations, visual aids, and step-by-step guidance. Lessons focus on fostering curiosity, problem-solving, and independent coding ability. I encourage students to experiment, analyse, and understand underlying logic rather than memorise code patterns.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with the latest developments in programming, AI, and software engineering. This allows me to integrate contemporary examples into lessons, keeping learning relevant and exciting. Watching students gain confidence, creativity, and mastery in programming is immensely rewarding and motivates me to continue inspiring learners to explore the possibilities of code.

My programming lessons are designed to transform coding from an intimidating subject into an empowering and practical skill. I cover Python, Java, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design principles. Lessons focus on conceptual clarity, hands-on coding exercises, debugging techniques, and real-world applications. I emphasise understanding why code works, nurturing logical thinking and problem-solving skills alongside technical knowledge. Each session is structured to build confidence, encourage experimentation, and foster independent learning.
For beginners, lessons start with the fundamentals of variables, loops, functions, and simple programmes. Intermediate students tackle object-oriented design, recursion, and modular programming, while advanced learners explore algorithms, APIs, optimisation, and project architecture. Each lesson includes coding exercises, interactive challenges, and feedback to reinforce learning, ensuring that students steadily develop both competence and confidence.
Programming education also strengthens analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and persistence. Students learn to approach complex problems methodically, debug effectively, and create efficient solutions. My goal is to help learners not only master programming languages but also build critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in applying their skills to academic, professional, and personal projects.
