About Phoebe
My interest in computer programming began with curiosity about how digital systems operate and how logic can be transformed into practical solutions. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science followed by an M.Sc in Software Development, which provided me with deep technical expertise and practical coding experience. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped students at various levels build coding confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a strong computational mindset.
I prioritize teaching methods that emphasize clarity, engagement, and adaptability. Lessons are structured to accommodate individual learning styles and pace, while promoting independent thinking and hands-on experimentation. I focus on guiding students to understand why code works the way it does, fostering deeper comprehension and lasting problem-solving ability.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with technological developments, programming innovations, and real-world applications. This enables me to bring relevant examples, contemporary techniques, and industry insights into the classroom. Watching students progress from hesitation to confidence, successfully building projects and solving challenges, is incredibly fulfilling. My mission is to cultivate learners who are not only capable coders but also independent, analytical thinkers ready to apply their skills creatively and effectively.

Programming is a foundational skill in today’s technology-driven world, and my lessons focus on building strong conceptual understanding alongside practical coding expertise. I cover fundamental and advanced topics including Python and Java programming, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, debugging, and real-world project development. Lessons are interactive and designed to develop logical thinking, analytical reasoning, and computational creativity. Students are encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and engage in iterative problem-solving to deepen their understanding and gain confidence.
Lesson content is tailored to the student’s current level. Beginners start with simple coding constructs, conditional statements, loops, and basic functions to develop clarity and confidence. Intermediate learners focus on structured programming, algorithm design, recursion, and project-based learning. Advanced learners engage with optimization, complex algorithms, API integration, and coding competitions.
