About Walker
I have 8 years of experience teaching Computer Programming, helping students develop coding expertise, problem-solving skills, and practical applications of software knowledge. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Engineering, which provided in-depth understanding of algorithms, programming logic, and software systems. I have taught learners of all levels, emphasizing clarity, engagement, and structured learning to help them achieve competence, confidence, and independence in programming.
My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, adaptability, and hands-on learning. I connect abstract coding concepts to tangible applications, encourage experimentation, and guide learners to develop problem-solving skills that build confidence and practical knowledge. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, ensuring comprehension, skill development, and motivation.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with software development projects, new technologies, and programming methodologies. Teaching programming is deeply rewarding because I witness students grow from hesitation to confidence, creativity, and competence. My goal is to instill both mastery and curiosity in every learner.

Programming becomes approachable and enjoyable when students understand the logic behind each line of code and the problem-solving process. In my lessons, I cover Python, Java, C++, data structures, object-oriented programming, algorithms, debugging, and project-based application development. My teaching emphasizes reasoning, structured thinking, and hands-on experience while fostering an encouraging environment where students feel confident experimenting, learning from mistakes, and discovering solutions independently. Real-world examples and interactive exercises reinforce understanding and practical skill.
Lesson plans are personalized to match the learner’s level. Beginners start with variables, loops, conditionals, and small projects to establish a strong foundation. Intermediate learners work on functions, recursion, modular design, debugging strategies, and mid-level projects. Advanced learners focus on algorithms, optimization, project planning, API usage, and complex application development.
