Since Philosophy can appear a bit abstract at first, I relate the topics of study to real life situations that one experiences and also explain the importance of the said topic. Philosophy for me is not something you study, but something you do. I see it as a verb. I try to get my students’ mind thinking about things that a normal person just takes for granted, like the concept of mind, existence, knowledge, truth, etc. I also try to teach them the art of argumentation (Logic) no matter what we study, for I find Logic to be the basic tool that one applies while doing Philosophy, regardless of the domain you re engaged with, currently.
