About Amy
I've coached students working towards LAMDA and Trinity examinations, and worked as a Trinity, LAMDA Speech and Drama teacher within a top independent school for 3 years. During my time there all my students were awarded high merits and distinctions, and one student was awarded an Exhibition Award by Trinity for gaining one of the highest marks in an Acting practical examination for their grade within the year.
I've also coached students preparing for drama school entry auditions, as well those preparing self tapes and auditions for professional work.
I have experience as a co-founder of She Soars Productions, creating and running industry focussed summer school acting courses for students aged 12-18, and also running workshops with Casting Directors and Theatre and Film Directors. Some of my students have gone on to have success being cast in shows for CBBC, Apple Tv, BBC and Netflix.
I've recently moved from London to Marlow, Buckinghamshire, so I have some space to take on new students either remotely online, or within the Marlow area. I hold an up to date Enhanced DBS.

My acting lessons are fun, engaging and tailored to the needs of the individual student. Lessons will usually adopt a Stanislavskian approach, but I often draw on other techniques, and methodologies from other practitioners too. For example I use Laban techniques to aid with character work. We will work on voice, movement, characterisation and scene study.
The typical length of a lesson would be 40mins (£35), however it would be possible to book a double lesson if required.
Lessons are suitable for all levels, from the age of 12 upwards.
I'm a professionally trained Actress (East 15 MA Acting, LAMDA - Shakespeare & Jacobean, the University of Birmingham BA Hons. Drama & Theatre Arts) with nearly 10 years experience teaching acting and public speaking to children and adults of all levels.
