About Jace

I graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing. Since then, I have been honing my skills as a writer, editor, and proofreader. I comb through the details of a piece of writing without forgetting about the big picture, so no matter what your areas for improvement are, I can help.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I am both patient and thorough. I will take all the time necessary to make sure a student knows how to perfect their essay.

I am experienced in working with people with learning disabilities and other neurodivergencies, so please don't hesitate to reach out!

Jay has done editing work for me in the past and he's great at what he does! He has the expertise to make useful suggestions while also being able to use simple language to patiently explain what makes our words work the best so it's not just him doing the work, it's learning how to work better. He's very personable on top of being skilled, so working with him is a fun, no-pressure experience. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs editing work, tutoring, or just wants the confidence to feel like they understand their work better.

Jace is a great tutor who helped me with essays for my English 001 class. He was a tremendous help in correcting my mistakes, pointing out areas that could be worded more clearly, helping to organize my points and he did all of it in an incredibly supportive and encouraging manner. I'm super grateful to have had his help, and would recommend him to anyone needing a hand with their writing!
