About Mary
I am an experienced, award-winning editor, researcher and journalist with hundreds of published works and a master’s degree from one of the best programs in the country. I have been tutoring for ten years, both online and in-person, and have been very proud to see my students accomplish everything they’ve hoped for and more. Besides my experience tutoring and teaching academic subjects, I’ve also served as a mentor and point person for professional development for many young adults, assisting with cover letters, resumes and other professional materials. Being the daughter of a teacher and life-long learner, I love having the opportunity to connect with all kinds of people and support them in achieving their goals.

I have extensive experience as a tutor, teaching assistant and mentor in primary education, collegiate and professional settings. I work in writing and editing full-time on a national level, publishing work read by millions everyday. I have worked with students of many different backgrounds, ages and experiences, including ESL students, adult learners and people who require educational accommodations and support. I have consistently achieved great results and stay in touch with many of my students thanks to the relationships we have formed. I fully believe learning via tutoring can not only be a fun, relaxed experience, but that everyone benefits from a flexible learning model that meets them where they are and accommodates what works best for the individual.
