About Jake
I am not the smartest of gentlemen, I have never been the best at anything but I have worked really hard across my varied careers and I want to help those that are in the same position I was. Due to my not being the best and having to work hard, it has meant that things didn't come easy to me so I have had to find ways to learn and simplify which are the tips and tricks I'm looking to pass along.

I have worked professionally on both sides of the audition table for many years. I have worked in commercial theatre, theatre in education, team building, site-specific and scratch performances. My experience ranges from directing main house theatre shows with 700+ seating capacity to 90-seat black box theatre, in addition to A LOT of site-specific work. The advantage of having worked as an actor and as a director and producer is that I know what actors are looking for from their director and what directors are looking for from their actors. I have worked on classical theatre as much as new writing so more than happy to meet for a coffee to discuss your needs.
