Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He's got a knack for explaining difficult concepts in a way a beginner can understand. He's also very passionate about teaching. Great teacher!
The most knowledgeable developer I have ever met. Alex is many years of experience working in the industry, as well as an educator. I highly recommend him.
Alex is a super nerd programmer and excellent explainer, who has a ton of patience for students. We worked together as instructor at a coding bootcamp and I had a great time working with him and collaborating on student mentorship/education.
Alex was the only other instructor who routinely mentored students to build interesting projects that taught them things far outside the curriculum, and that got them great jobs leading to fruitful careers. He finds it impossible to not get enthusiastic and deep when he has students who are eager to learn.
Highly recommended if you want an experienced, patient and deeply knowledgeable person to help you learn how to program and get you ready for a career in software.
Alex was a web development instructor and mentor at Lighthouse Labs while I was attending. He was the most engaging and helpful of around 15 mentors, and I found myself looking for him whenever I had questions. Alex is passionate about technology, so answers to questions were often more than just answers. Beyond feeling satisfied with Alex's clear and concise explanations, I often felt provoked to ask more questions and explore deeper. Alex is also incredibly creative which I found to be tremendously inspiring and fulfilling to engage with. He is one of the most brilliant individuals I have met. I highly recommend him as a teacher for everything related to JavaScript or web development.
Alex has a ton of experience in front end web development. He has made an invaluable web-based student evaluation tool for the class I teach at the University of Pittsburgh. Would highly recommend.

From first hand experience. Alex has always been able to help explain some of the weirder messy parts of JavaScript that alway gave me problems when I started transitioning into a full stack dev from a purely back end dev. Alex also has a way of simplifying complex topics making things easier to learn.
