I'm extraordinarily passionate about the subjects I teach - continuing to absorb them in my own time. I believe the best tutors are able to encourage their students to consider how the content of their subjects extends beyond the strict rigidity of a classroom environment and contributes to the outside world. I like to open up a Socratic dialogue with my students, so that the information and lessons they learn sink in beyond the level of mere memorisation. This achieved, when it comes to essay writing and answering exam questions, my students should feel confident enough to demonstrate the kind of individual flare required for obtaining the higher grades.
