About Jason
I am a recent transfer to Texas A&M majoring in physics. I have a cumulative 4.0 GPA and various experiences tutoring from being formally hired as a tutor at Austin Community College to informal tutoring friends and classmates for over a decade.
I have always enjoyed math and science and been at the top of my class. This would often result in other students coming to me for help. This trend continued into community college and because I was doing so well in my classes Austin Community College offered me a tutoring job for the chemistry class I just completed. I jumped at the chance. During the job I got considerable guidance from department heads and fellow tutors as to how to be a better tutor. My experience working with many students has taught me a great deal more about what it takes to be an effective tutor.
I enjoy helping students learn the concepts behind a mathematical or physics questions. I am reliable, hardworking, easy to work with, and will respond quickly to request. Feel free to contact me with additional questions or to schedule a lesson.

I provide an initial assessment and periodic assessments to tailor our tutoring session to you as an individual. I also provide group-tutoring sessions. Many students expressed joy in understanding difficult concepts while in my class and tutoring sessions. Students have told many of their friends and relatives to enroll with me. One nursing student for example stated she saved many hours and days of frustration after participating in my tutoring sessions. An NCLEX student said she was finally able to study according to her style of learning. I am challenged to be creative and up to date. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your learning.
