About Mark
Having attained an honours degree in Music from The University of The West Of Scotland, and having worked as a Private and Ensemble Drum-Kit Tutor for more than 5 years with over 70 students and having amassed more than 15 years of musical experience as a performing artist as a session musician, I continue to seek students keen to avail themselves of professional and drumkit tuition and musical skills development.

I possess exceptional organisation skills, and am highly competent in multi-tasking and handling high-priority teaching assignments such as emergency school students requiring assistance for final Music examinations.
I have great communication skills, am friendly, well mannered and determined to make an impression to students. Equally able to teach independently and as part of an ensemble.
Experienced in approved SQA NAT4/NAT5/Higher/Advanced Higher Drum-kit/Percussion syllabus and pieces: Dave Hassel, Trinity Guildhall, Keith Bartlett, Rock School and many more!
