Lessons are tailored to each student's age, level and goals.
I usually address a number of topics ranging from basic concepts such as open-position chords, as well as more advanced material (scales, soloing, chord inversions and improvisation).
As a professional musician based in NYC, I have toured and recorded with Chris Morrissey (Norah Jones, Mark Guiliana), City of the Sun, and Blitz Bazawule among others.
I’ve lead masterclasses and workshop at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura and at the Escuela de Jazz in Mexico City, and also at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno (CZ).
I have worked as a guitar and ensemble teacher with the following institutions in the NYC area: Ramaz Upper School, Manhattan; Ramaz Middle School, Manhattan; Yeshiva Ketana of Manhattan; P.S./I.S. 137 Rachel Jean Mitchell, Brooklyn; Brooklyn Music House, Brooklyn.
