About Dana P
I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated swimming coach who enjoys helping people develop their skills and feel confident in the water. I believe that learning to swim should be a positive experience, built on trust, encouragement, and consistent practice.
I take pride in creating a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and celebrating their progress. I understand that every swimmer is different, so I adapt my approach to suit each student's needs, abilities, and goals.
Whether I am teaching a child who is taking their first steps in the water or helping a swimmer improve their technique, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and commitment to every lesson. I also place great importance on water safety and helping students develop good habits from the beginning.
My goal is not simply to teach swimming skills, but to help every student become a more confident, capable, and independent swimmer. I look forward to supporting you or your child throughout your swimming journey and celebrating every achievement along the way.

My swimming lessons are designed to help every student feel comfortable, confident, and capable in the water. I take a patient, friendly, and supportive approach, adapting each lesson to the student's age, ability, and personal goals.
Each lesson begins with a short warm-up and a review of previous skills. We then focus on specific areas such as water confidence, breathing techniques, floating, kicking, stroke development, and overall swimming technique. I demonstrate each skill clearly, guide students through practical exercises, and provide helpful feedback to encourage steady progress.
What sets me apart is my ability to make learning enjoyable while maintaining a strong focus on progress, confidence, and water safety. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods to suit individual needs and help students improve at a comfortable pace.
My lessons are suitable for children, beginners, and swimmers who want to improve their technique or develop greater confidence in the water. Whether you are learning to swim for the first time or working towards better performance, I aim to make every lesson productive, encouraging, and rewarding. My goal is for every student to leave the pool feeling more confident than when they arrived.
