About Ellis
I am a certified swimming instructor with years of hands-on experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels across Florida. My background includes formal training in water safety, lifeguarding, and stroke technique, and I hold relevant certifications that ensure every lesson is conducted safely and professionally. I am passionate about making swimming accessible and enjoyable for everyone, from young children taking their first steps in the water to adults overcoming a fear of swimming later in life. My approach is patient, structured, and always student-focused. I believe that every person can learn to swim with the right guidance, encouragement, and environment. Outside of teaching, I am continually updating my knowledge and methods to provide the best possible experience for my students. Based in Florida, I offer personalized one-on-one swimming lessons tailored to your pace, goals, and comfort level. My sessions cover water safety, breathing techniques, stroke development, and endurance in a supportive, encouraging environment. I work with children, teenagers, and adults alike, and every lesson plan is adapted to the individual student. No two learners are the same, and my teaching reflects that. Whether your goal is to swim your first lap, improve your freestyle, or simply feel safe in the water, I'm here to help you get there, one stroke at a time.
