About Mark
I am currently a professional software engineer, working with lecturers at Cambridge University building an A Level maths app.
I have worked for Global Reach Group, a foreign exchange broker building the flagship trade analysis platform. Prior to that I built a distributed billing and rating system for cross border mobile usage for fleets of vehicles in the US and Europe. I am also responsible for some of the work at Compare the Market, working on their Energy, Motor Insurance and Travel Insurance systems. These are just a few of the project I have worked on in industry.
I have been passionate about programming for over 2 decades and in 2015 I began developing my own programming course videos online. I built courses teaching people functional programming and built up a student based of over 9000 happy students with an average 4.3 star rating.
I am keen to share my passion of computing and maths with students that want to get the most out of their studies. If you want to learn to program computers the way you would in the real world then I can show you how. I am also able to guide you through the curriculum and help you build your knowledge to pass your exams and complete your coursework.
