About Tevon
As a performing artist I've hit over 1000 stages from NY to LA, Baltimore to Atlanta. Famous venues I've headlined are: The Peppermint Club, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Apache XLR, and more. Performed for colleges such as NYU, Utica College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, etc.
In addition to that I've worked as session singer, studio vocal producer, vocal coach, and live background vocalist. I'm studied in the ways of the flat-footed singers who don't need a microphone with taste that also encompasses the auto-tuned crooners of today (yes, even that requires a level of technique and intention).

For beginners, intermediates, and advanced singers who want assistance and direction. I focus on building and bolstering pedagogical technique (breath support, placement, vocal registration, agility, tonality, etc.) and emotional expression (dynamics, distortion, phrasing, timing, tonality, etc.).
I am a performing singer, studio vocal producer, vocal coach, and recording artist. My approach is past-informed, present-day-flavored, and future-minded. With me you'll learn how to do what you want with your instrument in a way that maintains its health, and honors your artistry.
