About Angelo
I am a professional 3D Character Artist and Sculptor with over four years of industry experience, specializing in character design, 3D printing, and game-ready workflows. My work has included creating characters, props, and textures for video games and collectibles, with a strong focus on anatomy, form, and detail. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with studios on both large and small projects, including the Risk of Rain franchise, where I contributed to over a dozen new characters and multiple skins. I also bring extensive knowledge of hard-surface modeling, weapons, and prop creation, alongside a solid foundation in optimizing assets for real-time performance. In addition to production work, I am deeply passionate about mentoring and teaching. I enjoy guiding students in mastering tools like ZBrush, Maya, and other industry software while providing feedback to make their models more appealing, functional, and professional. My teaching style combines practical techniques with design fundamentals, ensuring students not only learn the tools but also understand how to create models that stand out. Whether you are a beginner looking to build a foundation, a hobbyist exploring 3D printing, or an aspiring professional aiming to strengthen your portfolio, I can help you grow faster, avoid common pitfalls, and gain the skills needed to bring your creative visions to life.

Angelo is a proven industry professional and former 3D Character Artist with Ghost Punch Games - who’s career includes partnering with top video game development studios like Gearbox Entertainment and working on popular titles such as Risk of Rain (among others), to big time media industry brands like West Coast Customs and more.
His passion, skill, and experience for 3D Character modeling has made him an extremely valuable resource as it pertains to instruction and teaching others everything that he knows about modeling in Zbrush and its rendering/modeling toolset.
Not only do I recommend Angelo as a solid, support minded person and expert in his craft, but also as a genuine and humble instructor who’s interest lies in the betterment and care for his colleagues and especially his students. I highly recommend him as a Superprof!View more recommendations
