About Lara
With over 8 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy, I am passionate about teaching piano that combines technical skill with emotional expression. Playing music should feel alive and personal.
I emphasize strong pedal technique, dynamic control, and nuanced phrasing. These skills allow students to perform with depth, subtlety, and musicality. Technical foundations support expressive playing.
I work with students of all levels and tailor lessons to their goals. I enjoy helping them discover their unique sound and musical voice. Together, we explore tone, phrasing, and emotional interpretation in every piece.
I create a warm and encouraging environment where creativity and confidence flourish. Music becomes a rewarding journey, not just practice. My goal is to guide students toward expressive, skilled, and emotionally connected performances.

My piano lessons focus on creativity, improvisation, and expressive playing. Students explore jazz, blues, pop, and other genres while developing technical skill. Every lesson is interactive and inspiring.
We practice melodic development so ideas flow naturally and expressively. Comping patterns, chord voicings, and rhythmic exercises give a strong foundation. I also guide students in creating spontaneous arrangements that transform simple ideas into complete performances.
My methodology fosters musical freedom while supporting technical growth. You’ll learn to improvise, respond to changes, and express yourself confidently. I provide constructive feedback to help you find your unique voice.
I work especially well with jazz pianists and pop players. Lessons are creative, hands-on, and enjoyable. Together, we develop skills that allow you to perform and improvise with confidence and style.
