About Sierra
I am a Piano tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 870 students. My passion is helping learners discover their musical potential while developing creativity, confidence, discipline, and artistic expression.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with complete beginners, advanced performers, examination candidates, competition participants, and students pursuing music for personal enjoyment. This experience allows me to create highly personalized lessons that support different musical ambitions and learning styles.
I believe music education should combine technical precision with artistic freedom. Students should learn how to perform accurately while also developing the ability to communicate emotion, meaning, and creativity through music.
Many learners have achieved distinctions in examinations, performed confidently at recitals, participated in competitions, and developed strong musical foundations through my guidance. Their accomplishments continue to motivate my dedication to teaching excellence.
My goal is to help every student become a confident and expressive musician while developing skills that provide lifelong enjoyment, artistic fulfillment, and personal growth.

My Piano lessons are designed to help students develop technical mastery, artistic creativity, musical understanding, and performance confidence through a structured and engaging learning approach. I teach Classical Piano, Contemporary Piano, Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Improvisation, Rhythm Development, Musical Interpretation, and Performance Preparation.
Students begin by developing strong foundations in posture, hand positioning, finger independence, note reading, rhythm accuracy, coordination, and listening skills. These essential abilities create the framework required for advanced musical development and successful performance.
As students progress, lessons expand into scales, arpeggios, technical studies, advanced repertoire, phrasing, interpretation, dynamics, improvisation, and recital preparation. Students learn how to understand music beyond the notes while strengthening technical precision and artistic awareness.
Theory concepts are integrated directly into practical piano activities so learners understand harmony, rhythm, musical form, and analysis while applying these concepts through performance. This balanced approach develops complete musicianship and independent learning abilities.
Personalized practice plans, performance coaching, detailed assessments, and continuous feedback help students improve consistently while building confidence and artistic excellence.
