About Cleo
Cleo is a British pianist and educator based in Wellington, specializing in piano teaching. She has extensive experience preparing students for examinations, competitions and performances and has worked as a freelance accompanist. Alongside her private teaching, Cleo is Head of Performing Arts at a leading independent school in Wellington, where she leads the curriculum program and directs the schools’ multiple choirs. She is passionate about developing expressive musicians ensuring students reach their full musical potential.

Lessons are tailored to each individual and draw upon both the Kodály and Dalcroze methodologies. Students focus on building musical understanding, confidence and creativity. I have experience working with neurodiverse students, using adaptable and inclusive teaching approaches. Sessions are designed to nurture a genuine connection to music, ensuring students feel supported, motivated and able to progress at their own pace.
