About Matt
I draw a lot of my teaching experience from my diverse and busy performing schedule around Chicago. My experience ranges from playing weddings, world fusion ensembles, underscoring improv comedy, and even performing with the University of Chicago hospital healing arts programs.

I am a seasoned piano and cello instructor with 10 years of private lesson experience. I was trained classically and have branched out into other genres including jazz, blues, and improv.
I enjoy helping students learn music they are excited about from pop, rock, jazz, to folk music.
