About Kaja
Hi! I'm Kaja Włostowska, a professional percussionist specializing in marimba and vibraphone.
I perform in a wide variety of projects across Europe, collaborating with internationally renowned musicians and composers, including Hans Zimmer.
As a performer, composer, and improviser, I enjoy exploring many different musical worlds, from jazz, world music, and Latin music to pop, electronic, and neoclassical music. I also collaborate with dance companies, theatre productions, and other live performance projects.
Over the years, I have specialized in improvisation, composition, and music creation, with an open and creative approach that encourages every musician to develop their own artistic voice and identity.

I teach all percussion instruments, with a specialization in keyboard percussion: marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, and MalletKAT.
Depending on your interests and goals, I offer lessons in jazz vibraphone, improvisation, as well as classical and jazz marimba, working with the instrument's core repertoire. For beginners, I also teach xylophone and the fundamentals of percussion.
I teach both two-mallet and four-mallet techniques, regardless of the instrument.
My lessons are open to students of all levels. Whether you're discovering percussion for the first time, preparing for a conservatory entrance exam, an audition, a concert, or simply looking to improve your playing, I'll adapt the lessons to your individual needs.
I teach in all musical styles, including jazz, classical, neoclassical, pop, world music, Latin music, contemporary music, and electronic music.
My teaching goes beyond technique. My goal is to help you develop your own artistic project and career, build your musical identity, expand your repertoire, and achieve your personal goals.
Lessons can take place in my music studio in Paris, France, or online.
