About Gizem
Hello! I am Gizem Gonca, an opera singer who graduated with top honors (first-class degree) from the Anadolu University State Conservatory Opera Department, complemented by a pedagogical formation from Marmara University.
Beyond my academic background, I have represented Turkey internationally as a jury member and performing artist at the Art-football festival in Moscow, Russia, and I have 5 official single releases available on major digital music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
Throughout my career, I have combined classical rigorous training with modern vocal health education. I hold specialized certificates in Voice Training from Sakarya University, as well as professional Voice Acting and Diction training from prominent industry masters. My teaching focuses on body-aligned, tension-free, and anatomical vocal mechanics rather than abstract rules. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to recover from vocal fatigue, I am here to guide your vocal journey safely.

My lessons are conducted fully online and are tailored entirely to your unique body mechanics and vocal anatomy.
• For Complete Beginners: If you think "I can't sing" or "I have no musical ear," we will step-by-step build your pitch matching and auditory coordination.
• Vocal Health & Fatigue Recovery: For those experiencing hoarseness, strain, or early vocal fatigue, we use SOVT exercises (such as Lax Vox), breath support (Appoggio), and body alignment to restore safe, natural phonation.
• Versatile Repertoire: From classical pieces and musical theater to pop and acoustic styles, we work on bringing out your authentic voice without pushing or forcing your throat.
Recommendations for Online Lessons:
To ensure the highest quality and efficiency during our online sessions, I kindly recommend preparing the following setup:
• A larger screen device (tablet or laptop): Essential for clear visual tracking, posture checks, and reading digital materials.
• A smartphone: Useful to have nearby for close-up video angles (such as checking posture, breath movement, or mouth shape) or for recording your exercises.
• Headphones: Highly recommended to clearly catch subtle vocal nuances and prevent background echo or feedback.
