About Simon
I have been tutoring students (age 5-50) academically for 6 years, and have taken part in many music workshops in schools around greater London. I have a degree in jazz performance from Trinity Laban conservatoire in Greenwich and graduated from the BRIT School for music. I perform jazz and pop music as well as original music regularly around London and internationally too.
I am currently offering the highest quality online drumming lessons from my studio in Bali to help you reach the next level in your musical journey !

My teaching style is informal and student centred, making sure my lessons focus on achieving students' musical ambitions, while still making the learning experience enjoyable and creative. Lesson plans range depending on the level of student skill- I specialise in drum technique, repertoire, ear training, theory, improvisation and band skills. These skills can be applied and transferred to different ability levels and styles of music so each student can find what's useful to them. I can also tutor students for performance and theory examinations. (Beginner - Intermediate Vibraphone lessons also available!)

I know Simon since two years ago and I can confidently say that he is one of the best drummer's I've seen so far. His musical instincts go far beyond the ordinary, and for as long as I have known him he's been a successful educator and musician. He is also my friend and I've come to see that he has a warm, kind, patient and open personality as well, which makes him the perfect profile for a music teacher. Any student would be lucky to have such a dedicated and passionate teacher like him, and as an experienced professional in musical education I cannot recommend him more.
