About Orlando
I have played in bands for over 10 years. In that time I have sung and played guitar, bass, double bass and keyboards. I am currently in the process of releasing a single for my own music project with an independent record label. My composing style has incorporated a wide variety of musical interests over the years including: classical guitar, jazz, hip-hop, rock, R&B, choral, disco, funk, Krautrock etc.. I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been teaching music in schools for 4 years. I previously taught for 3 years as a class teacher. I have a degree in world music and also a PGCE with Qualified teacher status.

Music should always be fun and relevant! I tailor my lessons to the interests of my pupils so that time is spent on what you really want to learn. I am always looking for the balance between focusing on creative expression and composition, whilst also getting a good basis in technique and theory. Both sides of music are important and it is all too common that only one of these areas is focused on in music lessons!

His passion for music and teaching children, engaging his young students with a wide variety of musical experiences is outstanding. Orlando is also very keen to extend his knowledge and therefore stays in touch with different approaches of teaching.
Orlando is an excellent teacher, particularly with primary aged children. He is very patient and is able to find the best learning style for the individual to help them to get the most out of their lessons.
