About Marco
My first encounter with Gnaoua music was in 1999 in Morocco.
Then I trained with the mâalems (the masters) of Essaouira and Marrakech, in particular Mahmoud Guinea and Abdelkebir Merchane with whom I study the main instruments of this music: the guembri and the karkabous.
On my return from France, I join "Ouled bambara" traditional Gnaoua music troupe and improve my skills with songs and dances.
He participates in many projects such as Polo & Pan, Imarhan, Ma Sané, Dez'akor Davan and Magou Samb and where I make his guembri resonate.
Since then, he travels France to pass on his knowledge with love and pedagogy.

Guembri course for beginners or advanced
Trained by the masters of Essaouira and Marrakech in Morocco for over 15 years. I offer introductory or advanced lessons in Guembri, the traditional bass of the Moroccan gnaouas.
Course presentation:

- Holding of the instrument
- Right hand left hand techniques

Perfect! Super prof, le cours s'est très bien déroulé. Excellent pédagogue qui s'adapte à l'élève.Dès le premier cours on peut déjà commencer à jouer un peu.

Ce que j'apprécie c'est que le cours est hyper structuré et on va à l'essentiel. On ne perd pas de temps.
C'est un ami bassiste qui me l'a recommandé et je vois déjà ma progression après un mois de cours.
