Dave is a fantastic tutor, I have had about 10 lessons with him so far and my playing has improved hugely in that time. Not only does he teach how to play, and quickly notices where you go wrong and corrects it but he will also teach the theory of music. Which helps give a good overall understanding of what I am playing. Highly recommended.

Really happy with my lessons with Dave. I'd started learning the piano pre-pandemic and was keen to start again and picked Dave for online classes. It is going really well and I feel like I've progressed a lot more in a few lessons with Dave than I did with my previous teacher. I feel encouraged to ask questions to understand why things work in a certain way and it is great to be moving onto more interesting songs. His suggestions around counting and playing along with a beat/the music are really helpful for keeping in time. Dave provides a good mixture of encouragement about what is going well along with suggestions for improvements. Would definitely recommend.

Dave is an AMAZING teacher, for both keyboard and guitar. It was my dream to learn to play piano since I was a teenager, but I never managed to make any progress on this front until last year. I'm almost 40 now and I only meet Dave a few months ago. Thanks to his guidance I not only learnt some basic piano songs, but I also bought a proper weighted-keys electric piano and managed to pass a Rockschool Grade 1 Contemporary Piano exam with distinction. Now we're working on a Grade 2 Syllabus. I would give Dave 6 stars, he really deserves them. He's very patient, supportive and has vast musical knowledge. Thanks Dave.
