About Ben
I am currently a music teacher in a Secondary school and part of the Roundhouse music collective. I have spent three years doing gigs all over the UK and working as a session musician with various artists. I have an immense passion for music and I want to share that passion with others.

I first get an idea of what kind of songs and genres my students like to explore and then work on building up the finger dexterity through different exercises. We then go through the preferred songs at very slow paces working our way up to the right speed. I love to educate students about how each song was written and what techniques are used so they can apply them. This is an extremely fast way of learning and is quite rewarding. Over time the get a good handle on the fundamentals and what the fret board offers. Then they are ready for more difficult topics. These come very easily because the finger dexterity and music theory knowledge is already there. Learning with me is very fast and rewarding. I love to check up on my students to see if they are enjoying practice and the songs they are learning. I might add that often times guitarists get posture problems which I have plenty of exercises to fix because it can be quite uncomfortable if left alone.
