About Elia Sánchez Martín
I have always been passionate about drawing and painting, especially portraiture. Having more than 15 years of experience in realistic portraiture, the last five I have specialized in graphite photorealism.
Being self-taught has instilled in me the desire to share my knowledge and help others discover what they are capable of doing. That you can reach the top by alternative paths, moving away from academicism or mixing techniques.
We are all different and we learn in our own way, I will be happy to help you discover yours!
Degrees: Conservación y Restauración de Pintura by the University ESCRBC (Madrid) and Digital Illustration by the University of the Arts Central Saint Martins (London)

I follow an intuitive teaching method. I know academic drawing techniques well but I strongly believe there are students who benefit from a more fluid and natural learning method.
My classes are aimed at students with a medium to advanced level, since they are the ones who will notice significant changes in their technique. But if your goal is long-term, I can help you regardless of your level and age.
In our first lesson, I will evaluate drawings you have recently made and help you set a realistic and achievable goal.

Buscaba a alguien que me ayudara a mejorar desde el estilo propio y la verdad es que ha sido todo un acierto. Tiene mucha experiencia y domina gran variedad de técnicas, ya sea para trabajar en digital como en tradicional. Si, para un aprendizaje más ameno, prefieres prescindir de encorsetamientos académicos (sin que por ello se pierda un ápice de profesionalidad) es tu profesora.
Para retrato y grafito es primera espada.Elia es una persona muy profesional, increíblemente imaginativa y que engancha con su método a los niños. Los niños aprenden y se divierten con nuevas técnicas, nuevos materiales... Nuestra experiencia fue buenísima.
No tengo palabras para describir su profesionalidad y conexión con los niños. Cuando estuvo dando clase a mis tres hijas lo hizo basándose en el juego educativo y potenciando sus cualidades , q mejor forma con niños!!!! Deseaban que llegará el día de las clases.
Te echamos mucho de menos, deseando que vuelvas a Valladolid.Además de una excelente artista tiene gran capacidad docente y es muy responsable con el trabajo. Su creatividad la emplea también en hacer las clases amenas y divertidas.
