About Silvia
I’m a full time professional hindu astrologer and astrology teacher, currently located in Madrid. I started studying in 2009, my main teacher is the scholar Ernst Wilhelm (check his videos on youtube, he is one of the most knowledgeable people out there). I earned a degree (BA) in Interdisciplinary Design (Design Thinking) at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2013.

With my experience and knowledge I have designed a curriculum that focuses on learning the basics: Planets, Rahu & Ketu (North & South Nodes), Signs, Houses and Nakshatras that are the basis for more advanced topics such as Lajjitaadi Avasthas (the condition of a planet) or Shad Bala (precise mathematical technique to analyze the ability of a planet to manifest things in the life of each one.) My goal is always to put it into practice and make it useful to the person by way of looking at birth charts from the beginning.
I'm a practicing astrologer but I've seen that learning astrology is much more beneficial that having a single birth chart reading. Hindu astrology teaches a whole philosophy of life based on self discovery and self realisation; hindu astrology explains the natural laws by which life woks and the strategies we use to find fulfilment. Astrology itself is ruled by the planet Jupiter, and one of the his names in Sanskrit is Jiva, which means life. This is knowledge that must be assimilated little by little but once learned and applied it will improve all aspects of your life.
