About Joseph
I've been playing guitar for 14 years now, and having been teaching for the past 5. In 2012 I received my teaching credentials for music, and have since taught guitar privately. I have taught a handful of students, ranging from no experience to intermediate. I teach students of any age, with previous students ranging from around 8 to 36 years old.
I TEACH ALL STYLES TOO! While my background is in rock, blues, and flamenco, I've been part of funk, jazz, and classical ensembles, to name a few, so I am comfortable with almost all aspects of the instrument!

I believe that adapting to each student's needs is most important. I usually spend the first lesson to discuss what the student is trying to get out of these lessons. Some want to learn how to solo, some want to learn how to write songs, some want to simply learn a few chords. As long as we are able to set a goal, we will get there!
From there, I write custom lesson plans for each individual in order to make sure they are on track to achieving their own goal.
