I know Giampiero since over a decade. He is definitely a great tutor: patient, knowledgeable and helpful. He first makes sure to understand your goal and he will then guide you to reach what you want to achieve with ad hoc classes. He is very flexible and he adapts his teaching to your own pace and level. Highly recommended!

I started my guitar lessons with Giampiero when I was approximately 14 in Italy and he has always been an easygoing teacher, able to switch from a classic and scholastic method of teaching to a more relaxed one based on my requests. When he moved to Canada we stayed in touch and he has always been available to give me advices and tips via Skype and Facebook. After he told me that he was moving in the Uk where I live as well I decided to start lessons with him again to keep improving my skills.

Throughout my early years of guitar lessons as young teenager, I had slowly been learning the basic fundamentals of the music world at the academy I had been attending. Its was there that I had met Giampiero, and although never actually having him as my personal teacher, I was still privileged enough to share an occasional lesson with him and his student at the time. After my time at the academy, I had neglected music for a considerable amount of time when coincidentally I had luckily run into Giampiero once again, this time at my place of work. This was the moment that changed my musical life forever. From there on out, Giampiero had helped me develop into the musician I am today. He always had a great understanding of your strengths, but most importantly your weaknesses. His lessons consisted of ways to tackle your weak points, emphasizing the importance of technique and finesse. Understanding music theory is the tip of the iceberg, but understanding how to implement it in exciting ways that advance your progress based off your own way of learning. I thank Giampiero for everything that he has done for me, and hope that anyone questioning their next move in music will give him the same opportunity the grow as a musician.

I had the privilege of studying with Giampiero De Angelis for about 2 years. In that time I was able to develop immensely and take my abilities to the next level. Giampiero’s knowledge and understanding of music and guitar playing are insightful and vast. His approach to tone, touch, technique and performance helped me realize the many possibilities of the guitar and music. The lessons were always a great time as Giampiero is very personable and friendly while still promoting a focused and informative learning environment. In the time since I have studied under Giampiero I have been able to peruse my music at the post secondary level. I am now a student at Berklee college of music and hope to graduate with a degree in performance and cultivate my professional career.
