About Sutton
I am a guitar tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a guitar emphasis. I regularly perform and compose, bringing real-world musicianship into my teaching. I view music as a lifelong creative endeavor.
I specialize in acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar, teaching students at all levels. Lessons emphasize technique, phrasing, and expressive detail. Students learn to connect creativity with technical mastery.
Creativity and self-expression are at the heart of my teaching. I blend music theory, composition, and performance into every lesson. Patience and consistent practice are central to developing skill.
I love helping students grow in confidence and artistry. My goal is to cultivate a lasting passion for guitar. Playing becomes both a skill and a personal form of expression.
