From Dreaming to Developing: Game Design Mentorship with Brayden
Most of us start the same way: with a dream of building our own video game. Maybe you’re just at the "what if" stage, maybe you’ve dabbled in a few tutorials, or maybe you’ve started coding at school and aren’t sure what comes next. Wherever you are on that journey, I’m here to help you find the way forward.

My approach isn’t a "one-size-fits-all" lesson. It’s individualized tutoring designed to meet you exactly where you’re at. Whether you’re stuck on a specific piece of logic, struggling to make your world feel "real," or you just don't know which button to press first we work on your goals.

I don’t just teach the theory; I’ve lived it. As the Acting Design Lead for the VR title Vox Machinae, I helped guide a project that achieved a 90% positive rating on Steam. My background includes a Computer Programming Diploma from Okanagan College, which means I have the technical "under-the-hood" knowledge to help you build systems that actually work.
For Every Creator (Ages 8 to Adult)
Game design is for everyone. I’ve spent my career breaking down complex "pro" concepts into simple, manageable steps for creators as young as eight, while also providing high-level technical coaching for university students. Whether we are using visual building blocks, advanced Unity Logic or delving into the psychology behind game design, the goal is the same: to inspire the dream and show you that with the right logic, there is always a way to bring your vision to life.
