I am a native Mandarin speaker. I moved to Melbourne 10 years ago & did my Bachelor's degree (In Anthropology!) in London. I am very fluent in both Mandarin & English. I love to get to know different cultures and I am confident that I can teach you practical Chinese to use in authentic Chinese culture.

About the lesson

- I am a language enthusiast who taught myself Cantonese and traditional Chinese characters. I am also learning Japanese, Spanish, French & more.. Therefore, I absolutely understand the difficulty (and excitement) of learning a new language. I will incorporate my own experience of learning a new language to help you understand Chinese. - I am a patient, responsible, supportive tutor with many years of experience in tutoring various subjects. I pay attention to details & accuracy, but I also understand that memorization by rote could be boring, so I would teach in a professional way but would also try to incorporate fun facts & stories.
