About Daxton
I am a passionate and experienced flute tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, working with students from school to college level, and I am dedicated to helping them achieve their musical goals. Music has always been a source of inspiration for me, and the flute, in particular, has allowed me to express myself in a unique and creative way.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach many students, helping them progress from beginners to confident performers. One of my proudest achievements is seeing my students perform on stage and participate in competitions with confidence and enthusiasm.
My teaching style is simple, supportive, and adaptable, focusing on building strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm understanding. I also encourage students to explore their creativity and enjoy the learning process.
I believe that every student learns differently, and I make an effort to tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs and pace. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to practise, improve, and develop a lifelong love for music.

My flute teaching methodology is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to provide a positive and structured learning experience. I believe that each student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match their needs.
I motivate students by encouraging their efforts and helping them achieve small milestones, which builds their confidence. Communication plays an important role in my teaching, as I explain breathing techniques, finger placement, posture, and tone quality in a clear and simple way.
With integrity, I focus on building strong basics and guiding students honestly. I correct mistakes patiently and help them improve step by step. Creativity allows me to design engaging lessons using songs, exercises, and fun activities.
In addition to flute, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm, and listening skills to support complete musical development.
