About Elena
Working behind the scenes as a college science technician, I see exactly where the disconnect happens for students. They often memorise textbook formulae but struggle to apply them when a real exam question asks about variables, equipment, or data analysis.
I want to teach because I love watching that "lightbulb moment" when a student finally understands how the theory applies to real life. Because I handle the practical side of science every day, I can bring a fresh, hands-on perspective to online tutoring. My goal is to take the intimidation out of science, build genuine confidence, and give students the exact practical insight they need to maximise their exam marks.

As a permanent Science Technician at a UK college, I live and breathe the science curriculum every single day. I don't just teach theory; I manage the exact practicals, lab skills, and exam board requirements (AQA, OCR, Pearson) that students find most difficult.
If your child struggles with understanding required practicals, experimental design, data analysis, or core chemistry and biology concepts, I can bridge that gap. I offer highly structured, supportive online and face-to-face tuition tailored specifically to boosting exam performance and confidence. Due to my full-time college role, my availability is strictly focused on high-quality evening and weekend sessions.
