About Sanjukta
I am a working scientist with PhD-level training, and my experience in real research labs has shaped how I teach biology. Spending years studying complex systems like cell signaling and immune responses has given me a deep understanding of where students struggle most—the confusing terminology, dense pathways, and the pressure to memorize without truly understanding.
Because I use these concepts in real scientific settings, I know which details matter, which ones can be simplified at first, and how to explain ideas in a way that builds intuition. I’ve seen firsthand how even advanced biology becomes manageable when it’s taught step-by-step, with clear logic and context.
As a tutor, I bring that perspective to high-school, AP Biology, college, and pre-med students. My approach as a tutor
I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind biology, not just memorize pathways. Topics like cell signaling can feel overwhelming because of unfamiliar names and complex cascades.
