About Tessa
As a tutor with over 8 years of experience and a BSc in Ecology and Conservation, I help middle school students discover biology. I make plant and animal life exciting by using hands-on methods. Simple experiments like seed germination bring concepts to life. Observing nature makes lessons relevant and memorable. I also use biodiversity stories to highlight the variety of life. My teaching builds both understanding and curiosity. Students are encouraged to explore ideas through questions. I make sure explanations are clear and simple. I aim to spark a lifelong interest in the natural sciences. Building confidence in scientific thinking is one of my main goals. My sessions are structured yet flexible, always engaging. Students enjoy learning while building strong foundations. Together, we’ll uncover the wonders of living organisms in the world around us.
