About Nataliia
Hello, I am glad to see any manifestation of creativity in a person’s life and believe that you can start drawing at any age. The main thing is a great desire to learn new things, a love of art, and, of course, long hours of work. I welcome everyone on the path to knowledge, and those who are not going to make art their job. Making art is an opportunity to express yourself and have a great time. How sweet it is to give a friend a still life or landscape painted with your hand. And even we sometimes try our hand at abstraction. How inexhaustible the possibilities are in the fine arts. Art cannot be standardized, and neither can learning. A varied and individual approach is the basis of our drawing hours. Also, one of the features in my lessons is that I never draw for my students, I show how to draw on a separate sheet or in the fields of the drawing. I started drawing at the age of two. At first it was just colorful tangled lines, that time I didn’t know that someday it would be modern art. At the age of 11 I was already studying at an art school, and at the age of 19 I entered and successfully graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv, Ukraine, master's degree. In my teaching, I use professional education methods and add my own pedagogical discoveries to make classes more lively and varied. In my studio you have the opportunity to master the basics of drawing and painting, and learn the secrets of a good artist. While learning, develop your own style, improve and gain a feeling of joy and inspiration. I really like to use different materials in my lessons: pencil, pastel, watercolor, oil, acrylic and even computer. If you know how to draw, then any material is within your control, because the main thing is creative thinking and the ability to see the unusual in the ordinary. This is what I teach to my students. For about 30 years, as a professional artist, I constantly participated in exhibitions, having more than 40 exhibitions in different countries. And only 7 years ago I started giving private lessons in academic drawing and painting at the request of my artist friends. It's probably time to pass on my experience to other people. I already have students from different countries. These are lessons for those who have never drawn, for those who already know how to do something and for those who want to improve their technique and knowledge. Lessons for people of any age over 11 years old. (up to 18 years in the presence of parents). Sometimes these are group activities where we gather outdoors in good weather. Details
Art supplies not included. I suggest having studio classes for art classes. The workshop is located near Dundas West station. Also, please note that I will only travel up to 5 km to the student's home. The hourly rate for longer commutes will have to be negotiated. I'm sorry, but If you cancel the class the same day, there will be no refund.
