About Rachel
Hello! My name is Rachel, and I’m a certified Arabic teacher with a degree in teaching Arabic at the elementary level from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Education. I have over two years of classroom experience, and I currently teach Arabic at a school that values inclusive and holistic education. I specialize in teaching both Modern Standard Arabic and the Lebanese dialect, and I tailor each lesson to suit the learner’s goals, level, and interests. As a passionate Arabic tutor, I believe that language learning should be meaningful, personalized, and engaging. My teaching method combines clear structure with creative interaction. I teach both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and the Lebanese dialect, depending on each learner’s goals and needs.
In a typical lesson, I start with a quick review to build confidence, followed by a focused objective—such as vocabulary, grammar, conversation, or cultural expression. I use visuals, videos, real-life scenarios, and sometimes even music or storytelling to keep lessons fun and memorable. I also integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking to ensure a balanced learning experience.
What sets me apart is my professional training in teaching Arabic, my experience with both children and adults, and my ability to adapt to every student’s level—whether you're a complete beginner or want to improve fluency. I specialize in teaching non-native speakers and those interested in understanding both formal Arabic and the rich Lebanese spoken variety.
