About Claire
Having worked professionally in the industry for the past seven years, I graduated from the BA Hons acting course at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2017, and am now based in Sussex.
Over the years I have performed at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith and the Soho theatre amongst many others. I have also been involved in many TV and film projects, and in 2017 received the 'Best Actress' award at the Oniros Film Awards.
Since graduating from drama school, I have also co-founded my own theatre company, Far Cry Theatre, which successfully debuted its first show - 'Henna Night' by Amy Rosenthal in 2017 at the Etcetera Theatre.

I’m an encouraging, supportive and gentle teacher, who always tailors my lessons to the individual requirements of my students, whether that’s preparing them for drama school auditions, dissecting classical and contemporary text, or simply using dramatic techniques in order to build confidence in speech and clarity.
I tend to work on a one-to-one basis purely for the fact that every actors process is so different, and often it’s more beneficial for students to feel as though they can work in a safe space without the judgement of others. That being said, I have also worked with actors in pairs or small classes who have thrived in a group atmosphere; it all comes down to what they’re looking to get out of the sessions.
I aim to make all of my lessons exciting, fun and engaging, whilst getting the most out of every student so that we can both leave at the end feeling like we’ve achieved something great.
As my lessons are bespoke and tailored to the individual, I don’t have a set age group that I work with.

My travel expense rates vary depending on how far I am needing to travel, however based on the area I cover, usually don't exceed £5.00.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you do not provide me with 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to a lesson, and I am unable to find another student to take your spot in that time, you will still be charged.
