About Amy
I am a professional actress whose credits include notable London theatres such as The Lyric Hammersmith, The Soho Theatre and The Pleasance Theatre.
I trained at both ALRA (Academy of Live and Recorded Arts) and then graduated from Drama Studio London with a First Class degree.
During my youth I did both LAMDA and Trinity exams in both Musical Theatre and Acting, I worked my way up to Grade 8 MT and Performance Cert. (beyond Grade 8) in Acting.
Alongside acting I have worked as a drama teacher, learning support assistant and assistant teacher which means I am used to structuring and tailoring lessons for all ages and abilities.

Every student is different and will be treated as such. For the first lesson (free) we will discuss what you want to get out of the sessions be that improved communication skills, drama school entry, improving Shakespeare, working towards an exam or just dipping your toe into acting for the first time! Whatever it is, we will talk through it, get to know each other so I can create a tailored plan for you going forward. Depending on what you want from the sessions we can spend the second half of the session running a monologue or a scene so I can see your level and we can get started straight away.
For children, I would ask the parents to join our first session so we can talk expectations and requirements together.
I have a very open process, I think listening and communication are very important. The best work usually happens when you feel comfortable to be open. I will ensure sessions are fun and entirely focused on your goals.

I found Amy a great tutor, very knowledgable on her subject and really made me feel comfortable right from the start
Amy is an amazing and talented tutor! Her energy is so enthusiastic, positive and welcoming so you can feel super comfortable and confident and also means you have so much fun! Would highly recommend!
I've had the opportunity to work with Amy through the years and the dedication, hard work and passion she puts into her work honestly inspires me. I've also seen how much energy and time she puts into her work with children and she's honestly brill. Anyone would be lucky to work with her in my opinion!
Amy truly is a natural when it comes to engaging, amusing and interacting with children, regardless of their age and no matter the context.
A highly experienced and proficient nanny, teaching assistant and kids' entertainer—with the credentials to back her up—Amy is equal parts firm and gentle. She is an effortless and confident leader. Children both respect her and love working alongside her.
Amy is enthusiastic, down-to-earth and professional. Her demeanour, work ethic and uncanny ability to transform even the most mundane tasks into novel and enjoyable experiences are why she is such a highly sought-after—and fabulous—tutor.View more recommendations
