About Joe
Act 1 2020. London. England. 7.30pm Joe was due to open in Tina the musical at the Aldwych Theatre in 2020 to an audience of 1200, then the day before opening night the pandemic hit (as you may have noticed) all the theatres closed, leaving those involved the theatre and arts entertainment industry stranded...with no furlough for most! *Cue dramatic music (Interval) Act 2 Joe decided to put his 20 years of performing to use and ventured into the corporate world, running virtual choirs, online confidence workshops, team building and communication sessions for many businesses. These sessions proved very successful and Joe found the skills he had learnt were very transferable. Presentation tips, using your voice and body to make an impact, speaking with confidence and authenticity, all these expertise were things Joe had taken for granted. And with years of teaching and facilitating under his belt, he found joy in the easy transition to create these engaging workshops. Out of the global pandemic and a truly terrible time for the world, a stroke of luck and a lot of hard work meant that 'take the stage consultancy' was born! Hello, firstly well done for reaching out, that's the hardest step! It's important that this experience is personal to you and I will tailor the project to suit your individual needs. Whether you want to communicate better 1-2-1 or have a large presentation looming, I can help. With years of experience performing on stage and screen at a high level, I offer insider knowledge to guide you or your team to be the best they can be when presenting, selling or just offering ideas in team meetings. I'll help you find your authentic voice, add the skills to tell your story and present the best version of yourself. Also on offer: *Weekly wellbeing group sessions to help remote workers stay energised through their working day, improving creativity and morale for all involved. *Creating an ensemble- An engaging workshop with new techniques and exercises to help your team work together, listen and communicate in a more productive way (in a non-invasive manner, meaning anyone from the team will feel comfortable) *Actors available on request for roleplay in a virtual setting and face to face. *Virtual choirs - a fun way to create a sense of company in your teams, and showcase your brand or raise awareness for your chosen charity (sessions on mute so no embarrassing moments, just liberated singing at home!) Our wellbeing sessions will re-energise your employees, getting them re-motivated and ready for their close up!
