About Peter
Peter founded Thinking Actors in 2016. We're based in Manchester. Please visit Thinking Actors website for further information.
Peter's a trained actor and qualified acting teacher with over twenty five years of experience as a professional drama practitioner and workshop facilitator. He's a graduate of both Manchester University and Manchester Metropolitan. He also trained with The Chicago Actors' Workshop Theater (now known as Redtwist Theater) and with The Acting Studio, New York City, under the mentorship of international Meisner Specialist James Price.
Thinking Actors is a registered UK learning provider delivering high quality creative support services and Continued Professional Development (CPD) for actors, presenters and creatives at all stages of their career.
Our support services include showreel creation and editing provision, premium self taping, career consultancy and audition coaching. Private coaching and Talent Whispering are also available. Our clients include international and prime time actors and performers, as well as emerging talent.
We also provide bespoke training for the Corporate and Education sector. Since our launch in 2016, we have worked with over 2000 actors, student actors and creatives.
2019 will see the introduction of a range of specialist training through our new Theatreworks division. Theatreworks will be a series of classes and workshops that will explore the creative process of theatre making, text in performance and practitioner understanding and application.
Thinking Actors provides a supportive, experiential learning environment to help actors and creatives develop and refine their skill base. We welcome both established and emerging talent. If you're serious about acting, we want to work with you.
We deliver structured, high quality workshops across the UK. Regular Acting for Camera Classes are run in Manchester. You'll be taught and not just directed. Unlike some of our competitors, we know our Artaud from our Stanislavski. We create technical and informed actors for stage, studio and location shoot.
