About Lewis
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant working at an NZX-listed company in Auckland. I am originally from Zimbabwe, having spent 10 years in South Africa. I have a huge passion for passing on knowledge. I see myself as a lifelong learner, and this drives me to also put myself in my students' shoes, showing empathy to better tailor my approach to my students' needs. I also take a patient, supportive and firm approach to tutoring.

I like to first get a baseline of your level of knowledge of the subject and your preferred learning style, and then take it from there.
I use a lot of allegories and stories to simplify basic concepts in accounting. I also like to develop mind maps and cheat sheets to assist you in crystallising complex topics and help you ace your assignments and tests.
Lessons are typically an hour or two.
I have a wealth of knowledge tutoring, particularly back home in Zimbabwe and South Africa. I am also in a space professionally where I have facilitated training and mentored junior staff when working for Big 4 and mid-tier audit firms.
My focus is university-level courses, but I can also offer assistance with high-school subjects.
